After publishing a schematic of the ETH 2.0 Beacon Chain specification earlier this week, I was invited to join the ETH 2.0 Implementers call.
In this call, we went through the progress of each of the ETH 2.0 teams, and ongoing research efforts.
The call is recorded, and can be found on the channel of the Ethereum Foundation, here.
You can find the notes here: GH/ethereum/eth2.0-pm.
My output is to do a write-up on a more efficient LMD GHOST implementation, which I described in the call. Most teams are still looking to implement LMD GHOST, or implemented the spec example, but the concern is that the current example in the spec is too slow.
